Tamagotchi Honto no Hanashi is the very first vintage Tamagotchi animated feature ever made, which was produced by Bandai and Toei Animation. It was released in Japan on July 12, 1997 as part of the Toei Animation Fair, and was released on VHS along with nine episodes of Anime TV de Hakken!! Tamagotchi アニメ TVで発見!! たまごっち Found on Anime TV!! Tamagotchi, which is also on this upload! I was able to upload at 4K! Enjoy!

One day, Dr. Banzo, a genius biologist who was depressed after failing his 100th arranged marriage, is hit by a UFO in the back of the head and encounters a mysterious creature called Tamagotchi'' on a bridge over the Sumida River. Eventually, as I continued researching this mysterious creature, I finally found out where "Tamagotchi" came from! They lived on "Tamagotchi Planet". They are creatures with cute mouths and eyes.In the City of Angels, angels make rain with watering cans, in the forest they call it mushichi, in the sea they call it watch, and in the plains and mountains they call it kuchipatchi. "Marucchi" and "Mamecchi" were playing happily and everyone seemed to be living together peacefully. However, one day, a terrible incident occurred due to the "Oyajicchi"! ! "Oyajicchi" forces "Tamagotchi Star", who is extremely weak against alcohol, to drink alcohol, so it's a big deal! ! When the "Tamagotchi Star" is completely lifted up, it begins to sing and dance, the ground shakes, the sea becomes turbulent, and there is a huge panic! ! It is said that the "Tamacopter" and "Hyurrun UFO" escaped from the dancing "Tamagotchi Planet" and were scattered into space.

*Ending Song: Let's Go!" (レッツゴ－) is the ending theme of the short film Tamagotchi Honto no Hanashi. It was composed and sung by BikiBiki5 (ビキビキ５). The beginning of this song samples the famous "This is a journey into sound" clip from "Train Sequence" by Geoffrey Sumner. Beeps from a Tamagotchi toy can be heard in the beginning of the song.
