This week, I dove into 3DS Max's Boolean modifier and OpenVDB. It was a blast creating fast, hard-surface elements with these tools. While it’s great for rapid prototyping, the resulting meshes need quite a bit of work for game or film optimization. Unfortunately, the current retopology tools still fall short of what’s needed for smoother, more efficient workflows. Nevertheless, it’s a fun way to experiment and push boundaries in 3D design
