Описание к видео Jabali Afrika

Jabali Afrika (Jabali means rock in Kiswahili) describe their music as a funky marriage between traditional instruments and contemporary rhythms and sounds. The was founded by the two brothers, Joseck Asikoye and Justo Asikoye, in the 1990s when they were based at the Kenya National Theatre. Then as an African Heritage Band, they travelled across Europe and the US for the African Heritage Festivals. After spending over 20 yrs in the US averaging around 250 performances annually, the brothers are back in Kenya, mentoring, co-writing and producing conscious music for the next generation of Kenyan musicians.
In this high energy performance, including their greatest hit, Aoko, the brothers have teamed up with the musicians Ricky Nanjero, John Were, Joe Sagini, Collins Ondiege, Abraham Muli and Strong Yawezekana.
