On December 11, the Faculty Against Antisemitism and For Academic Freedom group at the University of Maryland, College Park, hosted a webinar with Norman Goda, the Norman and Irma Braman Professor of Holocaust Studies at the University of Florida. Goda’s webinar focused on the accusation that Israel is committing genocide - by activists, scholars, international jurists, and UN officials - and the reasons why such charges appeared so suddenly and so widely despite the Hamas massacres that triggered the war. It is the second in a series of webinars addressing antisemitism and the delegitimization of the State of Israel that will be hosted by this AEN-supported faculty group.
