“Seregios” is a Flying Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, known for its aggressive aerial dominance and unique biological features. Cloaked in radiant gold scales with striking red markings around its eyes, this medium-sized wyvern boasts a fearsome presence. A single backward-curving horn sits atop its head, while its zygodactyl feet—two toes facing forward, two back—allow it to grip prey or terrain with precision. What sets it apart, however, is its living armor: thousands of sharp, bladed scales that can pivot independently. When enraged, these scales rattle and rise, preparing to be launched in a devastating attack.

This predator is a master of the skies, diving on opponents with blinding speed and slashing with its talons in midair. It aggressively defends its territory and will challenge even apex predators to assert dominance. Its projectile scales can be launched during these dives or from the ground, embedding themselves in victims and causing lingering damage. These scales are not just a ranged threat—they also enhance its close-quarters attacks, extending into razor-like ridges on its limbs and tail. When its tail is severed during its bladescale mode, the remaining piece will still visibly retain the extended blades, and may drop Bladescale Pods, a unique item that can be fired at monsters to inflict continuous chip damage.

Though it prefers fighting in open areas where it can fully utilize its aerial prowess, Seregios isn't limited to the skies. Its powerful legs allow it to strafe, kick, and claw with ferocity. When properly timed, these kicks can be power clashed if the hunter blocks during their execution, halting the assault. It has a notable turf war with Rey Dau, during which it attempts to dominate by outmaneuvering the larger leviathan with superior agility and relentless dive-bombing tactics.
