Rune is an action-adventure video game developed by Human Head Studios (which released the original Prey and helped on Bioshock Infinite) and released in 2000. Built on the Unreal Engine, the game casts the player as Ragnar, a young Viking warrior whose mettle is tested when Loki and his evil allies plot to destroy the world and bring about Ragnarok. That's Viking stuff before the whole Vikings craze. A sequel is expected later this 2019.

It's a nice 3rd person game which honestly controls much better than other similar games from the era. It still feels a bit stiff, but perfectly playable. It's a pretty straightforward game that will be over before you grow tired of it. Good stuff.

Rune es un juego de acción/aventura desarrollado por Human Head Studios (autores del Prey original, y ayudaron en Bioshock Infinite), y lanzado en el 2000. Construido con el motor Unreal, el jugador es Ragnar, un joven guerrero vikingo cuyo brío es puesto a prueba cuando Loki y sus aliados planean destruir el mundo trayendo el Ragnarok. Estamos hablando de movidas de vikingos antes de la fiebre de Vikings. Se espera una secuela a lo largo de este año 2019.

En juego en 3a persona agradable, cuyo control es bastante mejor que otros juegos similares de la época. Pese a ello, todavía se siente un poco rígido. Es un juego bastante lineal que se terminará antes de que te hayas cansado de él. Buen material
