Sailing from Florida Keys to NY

June 29 we left Pensacola to drive to Marathon, FL. From the Florida Keys, we set sail for New York. It ended up being an 11 day sail up the east coast with two stops to refuel and repair our main halyard that broke twice. As time passes, I am finding it harder to remember how uncomfortable I felt most of the trip unable to escape the intense heat below deck. Or the fear for our lives as we sailed through some of the remnants of Hurricane Beryl on the second to last night of our voyage.
