Sea fishing | Mostyn | North Wales

Another Friday, another late finish from work. Still determined to continue with fishing once a week, I headed off to Mostyn. An area I know has produced good fish for many folk, but as yet, not for me.

I arrived around midnight, had a quick scout around at the area I would be fishing, and settled down for some sleep. Being 6ft 4in, camping in the back of a SWB connect isn't the comfiest. But when it's that late, it doesn't make a difference, and I was out like a light.

4am curtain call, and I quickly set up the rods. The usual setup for me; Akios Fury FX420 continental beach rods, Penn Spinfisher reels, Pennel rigs. Unfortunately as you will see later in the video, I came a cropper on some rocks, and the rods suffered the price.
