A long, long, time ago, Hades and Persephone had settled down and decided that they wanted a family of their own. And so the two of them had 3 girls, the eldest being Kayana (seen in video)

Kayana has always had a hobby for exploring new places and going on a new adventure. She wanted to go explore the human realm and meet other children her age - so she asked her father if she could leave the palace.

Hades - being very paranoid - didn't allow her to. He always kept Kayana locked up in the palace along with her other sisters. Kayana had always tried to go to the human realm, and no matter how many "No"'s Hades has tolder her, she still rebels and tries to go. So, in order for her to stay, he had to inflict fear on her to keep her away.

Yes it was manipulative, but it was the only way to keep his little girl safe.
