Easy Red II - Axis Perspective - Battle of France - Blitz on Stonne

The Germans push on toward the city of Stonne, in Eastern France. The two largest contingents of each army collide, as the Germans release an all-out assault on the city. There's heavy fighting in the streets, and the Germans finally push the French into the surrounding countryside. The characters encountered fared as follows.

August Maurer was a 43 year old Tank Machine Gunner from Wals, Austria, was killed by anti tank fire while firing on a French AA gun at the northern approach to the city.

Adam Juttner was a 28 year old Tank Commander from Wals, Austria. He escaped his destroyed tank and took fire outside as he attempted an escape. He was soon recovered by a German medic, and was sent behind the lines for surgery and recovery.

Rollo Steinbatz was a 25 year old Tank Gunner from Bischofshofen, Austria. He was killed in same tank as August Maurer.

Berthold Horn was a 21 year old Tank Machine Gunner and driver from München, Germany. He was killed in same tank as August Maurer.

Theodore Angern was a 22 year old Machine Gunner from Maria Alm, Austria. He was involved in the main push through town, and was eventually wounded while pursuing the retreating French. He was removed to hospital in Berlin, where he recovered from his wounds, and returned to service later in the war.

Marcel Masson was a 34 year old Rifleman from Lacq, France. His body was found by Theodore Angern outside the church after the Germans captured the location.

Achim Hackl was a 23 year old Radioman from Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria. He was found in the street as the Germans pushed from north to south along the east edge of the city.

Trangott Haas was a 42 year old Rifleman from Mondsee, Austria. Theodore Angern encountered him in the long street fighting on the east end of Stonne. He was wounded in the street, and Theodore pulled him near a German medic for attention. The group took fire subsequently, and Trangott was killed in the gunfire.
