A long and rambling ramble about the fact that one-man turrets, though they have advantages, also don't operate as well as three-man turrets. Today, auto-loaders have largely replaced the role of the loader in a tank, but can a commander command a tank AND handle the gun?

Mixed in are digressions on such topics as the wisdom of dressing secret agents in military uniform, and the effectiveness of the 1939 Czechoslovakian army.
