Happy New Year!! Hon James L Oberstar departing through the storm that gave us a white Christmas! About 6 inches fell on Duluth overnight that day and stuck around until after the Holiday. It also made for a striking scene as the 806ft long, 65 year old Oberstar set out with iron ore. The ship has been very regular the last half of this season, been great to see so much of her! Rumor has it she might over-winter here as well but we’ll have to see, that changes up until the last second but it would be fun having her here!
