In 2019, I asked skate crews from Bern, Geneva, Basel and Fribourg to make a collaborative skate video. The first idea was to organize skate sessions in all four cities to make one film woth one part per city. Every crew was supposed to edit all the footage that each crew filmed in their city. Although covid delayed the start of the project, we managed to organise a few big sessions with all the different city crews visiting each other in Bern, Basel and Fribourg during the summer of 2020. After the summer, we realised that the sessions were really productive but we had too much footage at the same spots. That's why Nick Heuberger, who was also filming, asked me to use some of the footage for his full lenght video "Auf kosten der Gesundheit" which he put out in 2021. The colds days, the covid, some vx troubles and injuries made me realized that it would be really hard to carry out this project as I imagined it. Also, in 2020, I invested in a new HD set up and I have to admit that I found it hard to find the motivation to film with my vx1000 again. So the project kind of fizzled out. However, in 2023, I finally had the inspiration and motivation to edit these forgotten vx clips into a new project. I have great memories of intense sunny sessions from this "lost project". And through this project, I met some really nice guys from different cities in the swiss skate scene. Most of the footage from this video was filmed for this "lost project" in 2020. The 16mm clips are filmed by Yves Marchon, who joined a few sessions with his Bolex.
