Here is the first Intermountain model train review to come onto the channel for 2024. This is one of the four I got at the end of 2023 and this one is the GE ET44AC in the Canadian National/Illinois Central livery as 3008. The model train is DCC fitted with non sound and it uses a ESU LokPilot V5 which makes it compatible with DCC and analogue layouts.

It is a very nice model to come from Intermountain and I highly recommend these. On analogue mode, the start voltage is pre-set to 8v DC but it runs well and it its more configured for DCC than analogue. The model train handled the test train with ease thanks to its heavy metal chassis.
