This video shows expressions of the naturally smooth flat walk of a Tennessee Walking Horse. The flat walk is an even four beat gait with a head and neck nod in timing with the hind leg steps. The horse has always been barefoot and never worn shoes and is ridden in a mild snaffle bit. Still going strong at 17 years old.
