The Yaqibrush Co. Slant bar razor and 'The Panda'

Yaqibrush: the slant-bar razor head - 24mm Panda - PAA: Doppleganger.

This week's shave is with the Top Aggressive slant bar safety razor head from the Yaqibrush company; seriously, it is described that way on the website. I've placed it on a Merkur Bakelite handle. I find the razor to be very effective, it is aggressive, but quite smooth to shave with. I've enjoyed my shaves but this slant is a little too aggressive for me to use as a daily shaver.

The shaving brush is The Panda by Henry Hakamaki. a 24mm two band badger knot on a unique handle.

The shaving soap is from PAA (Phoenix Shaving) and is their Doppelgänger black label shaving soap, composed of a mix of high quality butters and ingredients that create a dense, creamy lather. Another mid-scented tribute to Christian Dior's Sauvage scent, which was a favourite of Steve McQueen; it is a lovely soap that lather's well, provides all the comfort you would expect, all wrapped up in a fabulous scent. There are other scents available in the range including: grey label - Creed Aventus; green label - Paco Rabanne.

Stearic Acid, Water, Beef Tallow, Duck Fat, Potassium Hydroxide, Kokum Butter, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Coconut Milk, Kaolin Clay, Lanolin, Tocopheral, Fragrance, Tussah Silk.
