Solo DUCK HUNTING In A PUBLIC FIELD (Unexpected Mixed Bag!)

Never before have I rolled up to a field that birds were piling into and thought, "I gotta go out there and hunt right now!". However, with freezing temps setting in and the migration in full swing I decided to do just that on my first day down in South Dakota last week. I had about an hour and a half of shooting light left when I headed out into the field and after kicking off thousands of ducks, specks, and snows I threw out a small spread and jumped in the layout for the last hour of light. It ended up being one of the most excited hours I've ever had while duck or goose hunting. Hope you enjoy!
