A couple years ago, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.

I didn't want to take out a student loan for college,
and the kids going to college seemed to struggle finding a high paying job anyway.

I HATED working minimum wage.

I needed another option...



Around that time, I got my first acoustic piano.
(I played an electric keyboard since I was 4 :)

The piano I got was in rough shape though. I thought about hiring someone to fix it so I Googled "piano tuners near me."

I found two piano tuners, but they were pretty far away and charged SO MUCH!!


I asked a piano tuner:
"why do you charge so much?"

and he answered:
"If I charged ANY less, there is NO WAY I would be able to keep up with demand...
I'm booked months out, and sometimes I have to turn people away."





I thought this was odd, so I went back to google and looked for more piano tuners, but this time, I didn't look for them in my city.

I was curious to see if piano tuners in other cities just like mine were having this problem

I started finding a pattern everywhere...



Every city around my size had only 1-2 piano tuners at most.
Everyone piano tuner I called agreed to the same thing...

THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PIANO TUNERS TO MEET THE DEMAND

"we NEED more tuners." They would all say

someone even offered me a job over the phone...
on the spot...
when I had no prior training...



Now that I am a full time piano tuner, I can't agree more with all the other pro's... we need more piano technicians.

there are no tuners 100+ miles north of my home...

so if any school, church, piano teacher, or student has a piano, I'm traveling 1.5 hours there and 1.5 hours back.
And get this... the customers are paying $70+ for a travel fee every time simply because I'm the only option.

There are literally thousands of cases like this across the globe!!

If you don't believe me, call up a local piano tuner and ask how busy they are.
