Glassing while elk, deer and bear hunting is multi-faceted, with the majority of hunters overlooking the important tactics of glassing at short-ranges - in thick terrain and vegetation. The tips and tricks in this video address that knowledge gap, and will give you an edge over other hunters.

In this video, Cliff covers the gear, situations and strategies he uses for finding elk, mule deer and bears when he is limited to glassing 600-1,000 yards. These are typically situations where we are trying to find bulls, bucks or bears that are bedded and/or obscured by heavy vegetation.
