Ten years ago, a mod released that took what was possible with Halo CE's game engine and was able to create one of the most memorable level overhauls in the form of The Silent Cartographer: Evolved, or TSC:E. In the form of a unique standalone mission set in the original game's storyline, this mod aims to take the weapons, vehicles, enemies, and allies you fight alongside with and give absolutely everything a really cool gameplay AND visual overhaul. The level even plays out in a very different way in terms of the island's layout and what adversaries stand in your path, such as the introduction of Brute forces present on Alpha Halo in this timeline. Without spoiling too much more in this description, let's just say you're in for a really great time if you ever choose to tackle this operation and experience a breath of fresh air to what is already one of the greatest missions in the original game ⚔️ With all of the in mind, I highly recommend checking the mod out for yourselves if you like what you see!
