What is Fluvoxamine Maleate (Luvox)?

Fluvoxamine is a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor. It blocks the reuptake of serotonin, enhancing serotonergic function in the brain.

So it is used-for obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Fluvoxamine is available as 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg immediate-release tablets, and as 100 mg and 150 mg extended-release tablets.
