When journeying to South Cotabato, once is infused with a spectrum of unique and extraordinary experiences -- cultures of vibrant colors, auspicious beliefs, and the enigma of venerable traditions along with an awe-inspiring panorama. T'nalak, hailed as the province's ultimate cultural emblem, is a traditional masterpiece of geometric patterns dreamt to life by T'boli weavers who translate their dreams into intricate patterns of intensely colored abaca fiber. Celebrated in July, this festival anchored on the t'nalak is timed with the province's founding anniversary and has become the biggest, brigtest and most colorful celebration in South Cotabato. It gained grnd from th momentum and interest in the mystric tapestry it has come to represent. Tourism has steadily grown, and visitors often eave with a promise to return with a bevy of friends in tow. Each year, the festival heightens the celebration with even more vibrancy and flair.
