If your drug card affiliate program is not a direct PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management Group), then you as a potential agent in their program are taking a great risk.

Drug Card Affiliate programs are merely "Brokers" who basically created an Affiliate Program after they secure a contract with a PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management). Programs like these created their own sets of rules and guidelines to protect themselves from their own malpractices. • Manipulation of agents monthly claims production, fraudulent claims report -- sometimes considered as skimming.
• Brokers have access to real time daily reporting system; however, not disclosing real time daily reporting system to their agents. These brokers modify and only provide once a month claims report with just the agent's name and a number for production. No savings data of where the claims are coming from, how many claims actually get paid, and overall transparency that should be provided to the agents.
• These Brokers reserve the rights to add, change or void their original contract with the agents in their affiliate program, and this is the scary part, being uncertain of the company the agents represent.

Affiliate programs that does not offer transparency to the daily claims reporting system can easily manipulate your hard earn claims and easily make it their own claims. They can change your monthly claims just by the click of the mouse.

Beware of programs that send you a monthly report in an excel format with just your name and your monthly claims numbers with no explanation of savings, or how the claims are tabulated can easily manipulate and change your claims production.

These brokers have daily access to your daily claims report, they simply add up your claims numbers and send you your monthly claims report. Somewhere along this line, your claims production numbers get distorted for their benefit. This happen so often that the agents who join these programs must ask for transparency to this fraudulent accounting practices.
