This is the gaming footage of Doom wad "The Slaughter Spectrum" playing with Doom mod "The Guncaster" on GZDoom 4.5.

The Slaughter Spectrum is a 5 maps wad made by Bridgeburner56. 4 light to moderate slaughter maps with the one that was originally designed to be the hub map for Refracted Reality. With the colorful theme and fantastic level design, each map serves its own unique way to impress the player during the adventure.

Map 02: Crimson Chaos
This map was heavily planned on paper before a line was drawn on GZDB and is largely the same as what the original layout was. The map was then chopped up into 3 pieces and linked with line portals to create the effect of a winding journey while being actually playable (credit to Cyano for that idea).

Red/Yellow color theme, big pentagrams in the sky, runes and signs decorated on the ceiling, walls and floors with multiple lighting sequences... Everything at every corner in this map really tickles my fancy and I really enjoy every second while exploring from the beginning to the end.

Secrets are easy but it seems that 2of them are glitched.. One of the secrets revealed before the player entering the fortress, but it seems that there's no "legit way" to go back and retrieve it unless leveraging the flying/gliding feature from Guncaster and/or entering "noclip" command in console.

The fights were more intense compared to the map01. Revenants/hell knights team up and swarm in frequently with Cyberdemons' ambushes. Dodging projectiles in the limited space where lots of mobs spawn in from every direction. Better bring the bigger guns or.... Well, I was spamming spells more often than spraying leads though. The mask "Dead Maker"💀 put me into the madness as a bigger badder extremely mad draconic wizard

Through those brutal fights surely guaranteed lots of brilliant fireworks to enjoy. I have a hella good time out there and that should be the number one priority that truly matters😚🎶
