Cleaning 70 Pounds of Bulk LEGO - 4000 Pieces at a Time

I'm opting for a more hands-on approach where I can inspect pieces throughout the cleaning process. I've heard about the washing machine method but I'm not inclined to hunt down a washer with temperature control and optional spin cycle, so I'll just do it the old fashioned way.
