One of the least talked about things outside of the airline industry is airline liveries. Aside from some famous paint jobs that have sparked much discussion, most people often don't care what the outside of the plane looks like, as long as they get from point A to point B safely.

Like many things in aviation, painting a plane can get pretty technical. CNC3 News producer Brent Pinheiro and cameraman Timothy Chasteau got an exclusive look at Caribbean Airlines' process as the local carrier begins to paint its ATR fleet. Fun Fact: The hummingbird design on the side of a Caribbean Airlines ATR requires approximately 5.6 gallons of primer and paint.
