From being a small backwater band that was mostly playing our songs for the local drunks (half of which where also members in our band) and stray cats in heat, the release of Songs and Curses and The Legend of Libertalia, meant that our music suddenly travelled world wide. We have received a LOT of positive feedback on our albums, but we also often get to hear that people would like to listen to us the way we sound live in the taverns, a long way the studio and the amped stage.

For that reason we would like to invite you all to take part of the first in a series of videos we would like to call the “Pirate Sessions”. Backing vocals out of key and untuned instruments shot by a shaky hand cam with light editing. Ye Banished Privateers the way our sorry maker created us (minus the makeup, that one stays!)

We really hope you enjoy our video for Fisher Lass, shot a cold autumn evening in the beautiful archipelago of Norrmjöle, just outside of our home town Umeå.
