Описание к видео The Best Fingerboard Decks of All-Time!? | The December Review | 10% OFF!

That's right all - this video is on December Fingerboards. The hype is real. But is it the best fingerboard deck ever?

Straight out of Argentina, December is founded by Joaquim and Mauro, two fingerboarders who’ve been around forever and have been positively impacting the fingerboard scene the entire time! I received a DM from Joaquim asking if they could send over a deck for me to try. I said sure! And on top of that I also bought one of the decks on launch too 😊

Before I go further, the guys from December want to give you all a 10% discount on your next December order.

Honestly, it's one of the best videos on YouTube!

I’ve had the pleasure to meet both Joaquim and Mauro. I lived in Schwarzenbach an der Salle for a short period, and Joa was living there and working for Blackriver at the same time! He’s one of the most stylish fingerboarders in the world, and he’s also one of the kindest! We spent many days and nights hanging out – sometimes fingerboarding sometimes not! He’s very thoughtful, whether it’s around his philosophy on fingerboarding style, or on his philosophy on the perfect fingerboard product, he really thinks things through.

And Mauro I’ve known since the FBWeekly days! Mauro founded EKO Fingerboards and has been making fingerboards for over a decade! I was fortunate to meet him at a Rendezvous (not sure what year that was as it all blends together), but it was fantastic to finally meet him after talking with him online for so long. He gave me two EKO fingerboard decks! He’s also a passionate fingerboard fan and made the long trek from Argentina to Germany to attend Fast Fingers. Additionally, he’s in the process of launching the Fingerboard Market, which will provide a safe solution to purchasing of second-hand used fingerboard gear. What’s not to like about that!

Well some of you may have seen Joaquim’s video about December and the journey it was to develop the perfect deck. It’s an AMAZING watch! I highly recommend checking out that video!

By the way, I also ordered a separate deck, I received a shipping confirmation the next morning. Very swift! Now the packages did get stuck in customs for nearly a month – but that’s completely out of December’s control – and it happens often in international shipping.

Packaging looks great, and the choice to re-use wood scraps as packaging is awesome. It also provides a nice protection for the deck.
One thing you may notice is that the December made in 2022 has both a longer nose and tail than the December made in 2023. I was sent the shorter one before they made the first batch, so I am assuming that this was an intentional update!

Before we shred the setup, let me know in the comments below if you would like to see more unboxings / reviews. If so, which products would you like me to check out? Oh and clicky the like button!

Initial impressions - This deck is awesome! The little tiny cartoon people are etched into the ply, and add a really nice texture to the deck. I also love the ply choices. I tossed on some brand new 34mm BRT 3.0s and some teal Flatface G8 wheels. This setup BLEEEEPS! Are Decembers the best deck I’ve ever used? I can’t say that definitively. But I can say from my initial impressions that I love using this deck. I’ve been rocking a Gripskin as a primary setup for a bit now, and it reminds me of that shape but with slightly more concave.
My little brother who does not fingerboard at all used the December for a bit and was consistently locking into bs 5050s. I asked him what word he would use to describe this deck and he said it was snappy. I totally agree with him there. I also feel like this deck is lighter than other 33.5mm decks I’ve used.

Shoutout to Joaquim and Mauro for making a fantastic deck. Priced at 50$ USD or their main decks, it seems like a good value. As I mentioned towards the beginning of the video, you can get 10% off by using the code CDPLAYA0 or by clicking the link in the description which makes the deck cost 45$ USD. Oh and they offer free shipping worldwide!
Let me know what you think.. will you be getting one? Let me know in the comments below!
We will have a few more reviews over the next week! We will review Milk Fingerboards – spoiler alert the deck is gorgeous! After that we will review another deck company, this time with my friend David, who runs Errl FB, he happens to live super close to me!
Have an epic day all!
