In this video, I show how to perform Kitchener grafting on two pieces of Garter stitch to join them seamlessly! You will need a tapestry needle to graft. Enjoy!

Setup
Line up your pieces with purl bumps facing you
1. insert your tapestry needle PURLWISE into the first stitch on FRONT needle, pull the yarn through, DO NOT take the stitch off the needle
2. do the same for the first stitch on your BACK needle

You are set up to graft by the repeating the following 4 steps
1. insert your tapestry needle KNITWISE into the first stitch on your FRONT needle, TAKE IT OFF the needle
2. insert your tapestry needle PURLWISE into the next stitch on your FRONT needle, pull the yarn through, DO NOT take the stitch off the needle
3. insert your tapestry needle KNITWISE into the first stitch on your BACK needle, TAKE IT OFF the needle
4. insert your tapestry needle PURLWISE into the next stitch on your BACK needle, pull the yarn through, DO NOT take the stitch off the needle
