2012 CA & National Teacher of the Year Reads Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad Dark

CCSSO 2012 California and National Teacher of the Year, Rebecca Mieliwocki, reads Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad for Jumpstart's Read for the Record 2012 campaign. A special thank you to Ms. Mieliwocki for joining us on Read for the Record!

A record number of readers took part in Jumpstart's Read for the Record on October 4th, helping us to break the world record for the greatest number of people reading the same book on the same day. 2,385,305 people read Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad, by David Soman and Jacky Davis, and of those almost 400,000 read the book online at wegivebooks.org, breaking the digital reading record with a 500% increase from 2011.
