New 3D digital twin of the world with Google Maps + UnrealEngine

A new 3D digital twin of the world is available for everyone to play with!

It's fully detailed with textures, meshes, and geo-referenced maps. It's also connected to the open internet, which means that anyone can add their own data or code to it.

I'm excited to see what people will do with this incredible new tool. I've already been able to create a flying game with Unreal Engine (demo below). I'm still learning about all the possibilities, but I'm sure there are many amazing things that people will create with this digital twin.

Thanks to Google Connect I/O for coming to Miami, where I had the opportunity to meet Mike Pegg and his Team, to chat and experience first hand the incredible things coming in this space.
