Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder with Ketamine - Dr Helena Rogg

Описание к видео Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder with Ketamine - Dr Helena Rogg

In this INSIGHT 2021 talk, Dr. Helena Rogg presents a moving case study on the use of ketamine to treat Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). A 20-year-old woman with BPD suffered from intense suicidal ideation and excessive self-harm which led to the loss of her leg. She received two doses of ketamine (0,5 mg/kg KG) within one week and both her BDI (‐38%) and BSL‐23 (‐25%) scores were reduced and no self‐injury was reported during 1 month follow‐up. Could ketamine be a new effective treatment for severe BPD?
