Dhruv treats everyone with delicious ice cream, and amidst this, Sushila announces Dhruv's engagement to Priya. Dhruv refuses to get engaged with anybody because he prioritizes his career above all. Sushila lashes out at her son, stating that his reason for denying marriage is Tara. She accuses Tara and Dhruv of having a secret love affair, and Tara gets upset when Sushila points out her character, so she decides to give "agnipariksha".
