Session 3 of the workshop on cybersecurity governance in East Asia is on cybersecurity threats and international law. It is moderated by Ms Franziska Klopfer, Project Coordinator of the Cybersecurity Programme at DCAF’s Europe and Central Asia Division.

It features a 30-minute presentation on cybersecurity threats in East Asia by Mr Koichiro Komiyama, Deputy Director of the Global Coordination Division and Manager of the Enterprise Support Group at the Japanese Computer Emergency Response Team (JPCERT/CC). It is followed by a 30-minute presentation on the lessons from Asia on international law positioning by states on cybersecurity, by Mr Kah-Kin Ho, Strategic Security Expert and former FireEye and Cisco employee. The session ends with a short Q&A.
