The first media appearance of HRH Princess Ferial Farouk, eldest daughter of King Farouk, took place a few years before she passed away in 2009. It was during an on-air rendezvous with Ricardo Karam that she uncovered the veil of what it was like to live the life of a princess. Her birth was celebrated nationwide by 41 celebratory gunshots, only to be followed by 13 years of royal life before the revolution toppled her father’s throne. After that, came exile with her father and her sisters Fawziyya and Fadia. Upon her family’s exile to Italy, she received her education in Switzerland and later married Jean-Pierre Perreten, whom she divorced shortly after giving birth to a daughter.

In this touching documentary, Princess Ferial recollects beautiful moments that were lost in childhood memories. She chats with Ricardo Karam about her harsh separation from her mother and the difficulties of living away from home.
