[Stay_TW] Last minute booking Midtown Richardson Hotel Ximen after 7.2 Earthquake hits TW. Worth it?

The original plan of my family Taiwan trip 2024 was to spent the last few days at Yilan and Hualien

However a 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hits Hualien on the 3rd day (03042024) of our trip disrupted the whole plan.

As typical Singaporeans, we have almost zero knowledge of what to do if we are caught in the epic center of an earthquake. As such we decided to continue our trip within Taipei.

It was not easy to find accommodation that can accept 3 adults at such short notice. Eventually I managed to secure a room at Midtown Richardson hotel.
