Recipes :-
1) Cinnamon tea
Ingredients: 1-2 Cup water, 1 small stick Ceylon cinnamon or 1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon powder.
Method: Boil water with the stick 5–10 min (or stir powdered cinnamon into hot water). Strain; drink warm.
Serve: 1 cup daily.
2) Amla (Indian gooseberry) juice (quick, low-sugar)
Ingredients: 2–3 fresh amla or 20–30 ml fresh unsweetened amla juice, 200–250 ml water.
Method: Blend chopped amla with water, strain if desired. Dilute juice well; do not add sugar.
Serve: Small glass (about 150–200 ml) once a day or alternate days.
3) Fenugreek seed water (soaked)
Ingredients: 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, 250 ml water.
Method: Soak seeds in water overnight. In the morning, strain and drink the soaking water; chew seeds if you like.
Serve: Drink first thing in the morning (or spread intake across day).
4) Karela (bitter melon) powder drink (simple)
Ingredients: 1/2 tsp karela powder, 200–250 ml water or unsweetened tomato/vegetable juice.
Method: Mix powder into water/juice, stir and drink. Start with 1–2 times/week and increase if tolerated.
Serve: Small glass; use sparingly because of bitter taste.
5) Lemon water (warm)
Ingredients: 1 cup warm water, juice of 1/4–1/2 lemon.
Method: Squeeze lemon into warm water; drink plain.
Serve: Morning on empty stomach or before meals.
6) Golden milk with ashwagandha
Ingredients (single cup): 200 ml unsweetened milk or unsweetened plant milk, 1/4 tsp turmeric, pinch black pepper, 1/4 tsp ashwagandha powder, optional 1/4 tsp cinnamon.
Method: Warm milk, whisk in turmeric, black pepper, ashwagandha and cinnamon; simmer 2–3 minutes, strain if needed.
Serve: 1 small cup—best in evening.
7) Green tea
Ingredients: 1 green tea bag or 1 tsp loose leaves, 200–250 ml hot (not boiling) water.
Method: Steep 2–3 minutes (longer = more caffeine/bitterness). Remove bag/strain and drink.
Serve: 1–3 cups/day depending on caffeine tolerance.
8) Gudmar (Gymnema) tea
Ingredients: 1 tsp dried gudmar leaves or 1–2 fresh leaves, 200–250 ml hot water.
Method: Steep leaves 5–10 minutes, strain, drink warm.
Serve: 1 cup once daily to start.
