Darth Vader fights Palpatine and loses terribly. As Sidious knows he was trying to find more about Padme at her Tomb with Sabe, and knows of his loss of Luke Skywalker to the light side. Palpatine is displeased and summons Vader to the Jedi Temple (now the Imperial Palace). Here, he fights Vader, and destroys him. Taking Vader to Mustafar, Palpatine tells him to not use the force for his survival, and sends Ochi of Bestoon upon him, for the next Star Wars issue.
