2021 MG HS PHEV Review - The Most Aggressive Electric Car Ever.
The MG HS PHEV is exactly the same outside as the petrol version. Move inside and there is a new screen and media centre along with apple car play. Under the Bonnet there is still a 1.5 litre 4 cylinder turbo charged petrol engine which produces 119kw's of power and 250nm's of torque but now with an added electric motor and the battery is 16.6kwh that produces 90kw's of power and 230nm's of torque and thats mated to a 10 speed automatic transmission. Driving the HS PHEV is nice and it has good power thanks to both engines kicking in to give it a good boost off the line and it also cruises around town nicely and is very smooth.
