Ingredients for Italian Rice Bowl with Cheesy Sauce

For the Rice:
1 cup cooked rice (white/brown/basmati)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mixed Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove garlic, minced)

For the Vegetables:
1/2 cup zucchini (sliced)
1/2 cup bell pepper (red/yellow/green, chopped)
1/2 cup broccoli florets
1/4 cup sweet corn (boiled)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

For the Cheesy Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour (maida) or wheat flour
750ml cup milk (warm)
2 tbsp grated cheese (mozzarella/cheddar)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

For Garnishing:
Fresh basil or parsley (chopped)
Lemon
Chili flakes (for a spicy kick)
