The Gstaad Guy is a satirical social media personality with a huge following. Named after the Swiss winter resort beloved by the ultra wealthy, his content both pokes fun at and celebrates luxury living.

In this episode of Detour, the Gstaad Guy is in Gstaad in summer. He begins his day with breakfast at the Alpina Hotel, gazing at Gstaad’s stunning mountain scenery from his hotel room balcony. He then heads into town to browse clothes at Loro Piana and spot his own jewellery brand, Poubel, at Bach Sign. He tries Gstaad’s only fast food offering before ending the day with a drink at the Alpina bar.

In each episode of Detour, local creatives take us to visit the hidden gems of their city, from the best places to eat and shop to where to go after dark.
