SKULLVIEW é uma banda de heavy metal tradicional originária de Indiana, EUA. SKULLVIEW is a traditional heavy metal band from Indiana, USA. The members, who worked in steel mills and various construction jobs, shared a common passion for traditional heavy metal and decided to form the band. Skullview released their first demo in 1997, which led to their signing with Rip Records. In the late 90s and early 2000s, the band released three albums under this label: Legends of Valor (1998), Kings of the Universe (1999), and Consequences of Failure (2001).

The band is known for its unique blend of influences, ranging from American traditional heavy metal and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) to epic power metal and elements of extreme metal like death and black metal. However, Skullview had limited distribution outside the Midwest of the USA and struggled to reach a larger audience during a time when traditional heavy metal was not popular in the United States.
