Note Completion
Note completion is one of the most frequently given tasks in the IELTS Listening test. This task is given in the form of a set of notes and candidates have to fill in the gaps of factual details such as names, addresses, numbers, time, prices, etc. Usually, grammar words such as articles, auxiliary verbs, etc. May be omitted when they are not semantically necessary.
Tip 1
Read the instructions very carefully as the number of words or the numbers used to fill the gaps will vary and then predict the missing words you would need to fill in.
Tip 2
Write the exact words as you hear them. Use abbreviations, if possible, to save time while listening.
