Sasser Construction has begun construction on six new homes in The Reserve at Cedar Point (5 of which are under contract). The Reserve at Cedar Point is a new home community located in the northern part of Suffolk, VA.

Sasser Construction was selected as the Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year in 2010, and has been building new homes since 1986. Currently, Sasser is building in Founders Pointe, Governor's Pointe, The Waterfront at Parkside, Martin's Point, and The Landings at Bennett's Creek. Sasser also owns one homesite in The Riverfront at Harbour, where Sasser was one of the Featured Builders.

Cedar Point features a beautifully manicured 18-hole championship golf course - a classic layout and was designed for the true golf enthusiast. In 2003, the course was completely renovated by the renowned course architect, Tom Clark. (A 7,100 plus yard layout, a fully stocked pro-shop, a large driving range, practice bunkers, and a 9 hole par 3 course on the Nansemond River).
