Hi, this is Ted Kelly with another Ted's
Hospitality Minute. Today our sessions
gonna be the two C's. I know right
what's the two C's? Give me a second. So
at some point when we're returned to life
in this post covid society and folks
are gonna start returning to your hotel. I
guess the one question I would ask you
is what's going to give your guests
the confidence that you're taking the
necessary precautions to have an
environment where it's safe for them to
stay there? We know our
hotels have got to be clean more, you've
got to be sanitized and maintained to
the highest standards. But how are they
and why should they trust you to take
care of them without having kind of seen
what you're doing behind the scenes? My
bet is I think from a marketing
standpoint, at a website standpoint we're
probably gonna have to show them some of
the things that we're doing before they
get there to make them have at least a
level of confidence and then I think
once they get there we're gonna have to
demonstrate that continued confidence in
showing them that hey we're taking all
the extraordinary steps to practice
social distancing to wipe down our
counters more and more, to provide wipes
for them when they come into the
building. To provide masks, gloves,
whatever gives them that sense of
confidence that hey these guys are
really practicing cleanliness standard
and they're trying to protect us and
them. So that's my first C. How do we
get that confidence in our guests to
make them want to stay at our hotel?
