Sand casting - cast in place sapphires - fusing

This is a quick little 1 minute video very briefly showing my entire process of making this ring.
The ring didn't actually form properly so I had to fill the gap by fusing silver around the sapphires and joining the ring together.
I went over the fused section with a very small round ball bur to texture the section imitating the sand cast texture on the rest of the ring.
