  / loisdavidsonart   This is a simple loose watercolour sunset using the wet in wet method with large hake brushes, letting the paint flow and using a limited palette of 5 colours to produce a colourful sky. The sea was a bit more difficult, but using some white gouache saved the day! I hope you will give something like this a try, it is very simple but can be very effective with a bit of practice!

Materials:
Saunders Waterford cold pressed paper
Large Chinese hake brush, large Ron Ranson Pro Arte hake, 3/4" flat brush, Matthew Palmer large tree and texture brush
Cotman yellow ochre, light red, cobalt blue, paynes grey and white gouache
