The Light Rail that runs between Two States

Описание к видео The Light Rail that runs between Two States

Metrolink is the light rail system that operates in St. Louis, Missouri. It uses previously abandoned railroad infrastructure through downtown and across the Mississippi River into Illinois. This makes it the only interstate light rail system in the United States. There are two lines: Red runs from Lambert Airport to Shiloh-Scott Air Force Base, while Blue runs from Shrewsbury to Fairview Heights. Join Thom aboard a Red line train, as we point out different interesting features of the system. And of course, no trip to Saint Louis is complete without a visit to the Gateway Arch!
