The visit comes amid growing tension after the Ram Navami celebration and the resulting violence in the state. Amit Shah has taken cognizance of the violence that erupted in various parts of Bihar on the occasion of the Ram Navami. He also spoke to the governor in this regard. The clashes were reported on March 31 in Nalanda's Bihar sharif and Sasaram in Rohtas district where Shah was scheduled to visit on Sunday.
