Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Black and Decker 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. LINK to Black and Decker 12-Cup Coffeemaker: http://amzn.to/1MXfXRm
LINK to Permanent Filter: https://amzn.to/2xoiPnw It measures 12 inches tall by 7 inches wide and 9 inches deep. The housing is plastic. The unit comes with a removable filter basket, glass carafe and instruction manual. It’s a very basic machine.
The control panel has simple almost flat buttons. You can program the unit to make coffee at a later time. You can also pause brewing by removing the carafe before the pot is finished brewing. The carafe has to be placed back on the plate within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.

Before you brew your first cup of coffee, clean the machine. Use a paper filter or permanent filter. I clean with 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water same as any other coffee machine. Then run one or two pots of plain water through the machine.

Let’s make coffee. I’m using my permanent filter in the basket. I’ll pour in 4 cups of water. The space to pour water is a bit small but there shouldn’t be any spills because the carafe lip is designed well. I’m using 4 tbsps coffee. Close the cover, make sure you hear the snap so it’s closed securely. Place the carafe on the plate. Press on/off and the indicator light will illuminate. It’s brewing. Coffee will kept warm for two hours and the machine will shut off automatically. I’ll pull out the carafe to see if it’ll drip.

The filter basket and carafe can be washed in the top rack of your dishwasher or hand washed.

Overall, this Black and Decker Coffee maker makes a decent cup of coffee and is extremely simple to use. It’s an inexpensive machine and performs well. The link to the Black and Decker is in the description below. Please subscribe and thanks for watching!
